2024 will be a huge year for Norrá Hill (yes, that's a band name, not a person!). Kari and Frank are working on their first EP to be released later this year. It will consist of 5 new tracks and might include a cover song, but we're not sure yet. Currently we are working with international artists that will be featured on the new tracks.
"Thinking of you" has been released on July 7th 2023. It is a pop ballad with a romantic 6/8 time signature and a great melody by Kari. Again, Frank and Kari have been joined by Jan-Eric Heitland on bass and (this time) Chris Thomas on drums! It's been brilliantly mastered by Steve Kitch! There is also a great Synthwave-Remix by An Losenko that you'll be able to find on Youtube (see below) and all streaming services. To listen to our music please follow the links:

This spring Kari and Frank did release their latest single to date. It is called "On my way" and has been released on May 19th 2022! This new track features the talent of extraordinary drummer Torsten Bugiel.

Please do also listen to our previous release "Perfect Storm". It features the beautiful talent of Kari Ehli on vocals! Joined by Torsten Müller on Keys and Chris Thomas on drums. It is a great but relaxed pop song with a subtile 80s vibe to it.

About
Norrá Hill is a band project created by guitarist, composer, producer Frank Lechtenberg. His Britpop influenced Jangly Guitar Pop is recognizable and Kari Ehli's voice creates a perfect atmosphere for a smooth sundowner. Frank and Kari work with different other musicians on their tracks. This includes drummers like Chris Thomas or Torsten Bugiel as well as Rohan Craw on vocals (Rewind and Replay).
Usually Frank comes up with some prearranged chord sequences for Kari to work on. After she has done the melody and lyrics they are getting several talents on other instruments to suit their sound best. There are international talents contributing to their tracks.
